What Information Jaywalk Keeps and Why

When you start therapy, we collect basic contact details (name, address, phone, email, CPR number if relevant) and the information you share during our sessions. This forms your clinical journal, which is required by Danish law.
We use these details only to provide your treatment, manage communication, and meet legal obligations.

When you subscribe to Jaywalk's mailing list, we store your name or pseudonym and your email address for the purpose of sending you emails about Jaywalk's services and updates on what's happening at Jaywalk.

How long Jaywalk Keeps It

Danish health regulations require psychologists to store client records for at least five years after your last session. After that, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Confidentiality

Everything you share stays between you and Julia.
As a psychologist, she follows the professional confidentiality rules and ethical standards set out for Nordic psychologists by the Dansk Psykolog Forening. Your information is stored securely and never sold, shared, or passed on without your consent, unless required by law – for example, in rare cases involving serious risk of harm.

Data Handling

You remain in control of your own data. You can:

  • Ask to see what information Jaywalk holds about you

  • Request corrections if something is inaccurate

  • Ask for deletion (within what the law allows)

  • Withdraw your consent at any time

If you wish to use any of these rights, just contact Julia at the email above.

If you ever feel unsure about how your data is handled, please contact Julia directly.
